Rebecca Anne Brady is an established Contemporary Abstract Artist and Textile Designer based in Picnic Point, New South Wales. Both her art and design practice fuse together, one informing the other. Her bespoke textile designs and original artworks are influenced by her connection to the land and inspired by experiences, adventures and her family.

Rebecca’s unique and creative response to the Australian landscape is detailed and vibrant. Her compositions have been described as a kaleidoscope of colour and decorative markings that take the viewer on an adventurous journey. The many layers within Rebecca’s mixed media paintings reveal hints of patterns and motifs with a blend of textures and colours that celebrate the subject matter.

Rebecca’s first fabric collection for Rathenart Designs was launched in the Summer of 2011 at Las Vegas Fashion Week. She has continued to create and exhibit award winning works both nationally and internationally. Such exhibitions and awards pertain to Penrith Regional Gallery, Casula Powerhouse, Palazzo Velli Gallery, Rome, Italy and Gallery 11:11 North Epping.
